You can start by turning off the car's battery, then pull out the dashboard trim in front of the steering wheel. Underneath that trim, unscrew the screws that hold the radio unit in place. Grasp the radio from its sides and relax pressure to reach the back, disconnecting all connections you find-including the antenna harness. For installation, reverse the removal steps. To take out door speakers, start by removing the door trim panel, unscrewing the speaker retaining screws, disconnecting its wiring, and pulling the speaker out of the car. Installation works just in reverse. Take off the rear package shelf hooks by pulling them loose to get to the screws underneath. Unscrew those screws, disconnect the electrical connector from the trunk's inside, and pull out the speaker, following the same steps in reverse for installation. Seekers can remove tweeters, which optional in some models, by tapping a taped-up screwdriver tip under the tweeter's edge, pulling it out, and unplugging its electrical connection. Putting things back together goes in the opposite order.
