To remove and replace fuel injectors in a vehicle, start by relieving fuel pressure and disconnecting the negative battery terminal. Remove the engine cover and air intake duct if necessary. For four-cylinder models, disconnect electrical connectors, and remove the fuel supply line and fuel rail mounting bolts. Lift the fuel rail and injectors as a single assembly, replacing O-rings if necessary. For V6 models, remove the strut brace and intake manifold. Disconnect electrical connectors, and remove the Vacuum Switching Valve mounting bracket. If removing the entire fuel rail assembly, disconnect the fuel supply line and crossover tube. For 2GR-FKS V6 models port injection replacement, remove the upper intake manifold, and disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors. For direct injection, remove the upper intake manifold and high-pressure
Fuel Pump. Install new injectors and O-rings, then reassemble components in reverse order. Start the engine and check for leaks.
