Before you handle the front door parts for a Lexus ES300, take off first the door trim panel and plastic water shield, then take out the window glass assembly. When dealing with windows powered by electricity, cut the connection that runs to the motor behind the window regulator. Be sure to note where the rear bolt of the upper roller guide is before taking out the bolts that keep the lower guide in place. Then, remove screws from the door that hold the regulator and motor together. After that, guide both the regulator and equalizer arms back out of the door frame through its work opening. Rephrase these removal steps in reverse order. Before installing, make sure to grease the rollers and wear points on the regulator while adding white grease. Initially, you need to take off the door trim panel and plastic water shield before unplugging the window glass assembly on the back door. Open up power window regulator motor connections, and take out the regulator/motor mounting bolts. The rear door's regulator and motor are set up the same way as those in the front doors. Unscrew the bar at the top, lift the regulator valve system into the service space in the door frame, and take it out. When installing, keep the rollers and wear points of the regulator wet with white grease at all times during the reverse process.
