    Two switches are on the vehicle, the turn signal/headlight switch on the left and the wiper/washer switch on the right. To check, disconnect the wire from the switch to the main harness connector and use an ohmmeter to verify continuity. If continuity doesn't match specified values, replace the switch. To remove, disconnect the battery's negative terminal, remove the steering wheel and column covers, unplug the connectors from the switch, and remove the retaining screws. Individual switches can be detached and replaced by loosening the screws or pins. Installation is the reverse of removal.
