It is impossible to repair the rear hub and bearing assembly. A replacement must be made once it is found to be defective. To remove, loosen wheel lug nuts first, lift the vehicle and with jackstands support it securely. At that point, take off wheel. Then, from the hub, remove brake drum or disc. After that, using the hub flange turning it so that a large circular cutout uncovers each bolt locate and get rid of four hub-to-axle carrier bolts .To disengage the four bolts connecting the hub and bearing assembly to the rear axle carrier just rotate the hub flange and line up one of the holes in it with every bolt. Next dislodge the hub together with its bearing assembly from its seat by moving it through the brake assembly. Finally uninstall old O-ring from hub seat. Slide it onto axle carrier exactly above backing plate so as to align all holes on new assembly which it comprises before bolting down toward their final position .A magnet can be used for guiding bolts through hub flange into position during installing process .After all four bolts are in place, tighten them up to torque specifications on them given in previous page .Thereafter install brake drum or disc and a caliper then put back wheel .Lastly lower vehicle before tightening lug nuts according to torque specifications on them given in previous page.
