For 2009 and earlier models, the sensor is located on the left side of the cylinder head below the valve cover. To remove, begin by removing the air filter housing, followed by disconnecting the electrical connector. Unbolt the sensor and remove. Installation is the reverse of removal. For 2010 and later models, the sensor(s) are mounted on the top of the valve cover. To remove them, the harness electrical connector needs to be disconnected, followed by removing the mounting screws and taking out the camshaft sensor(s) from the valve cover. Installation is the reverse of removal.
