Loosen the drive axle/hub nut. Loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the wheel. Remove the brake caliper and support it with a piece of wire. Remove the caliper torque plate and separate the brake disc from the hub. Loosen, but do not remove, the strut-to-steering knuckle bolts. Separate the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle arm. Remove the ball joint-to-lower arm bolt and nuts. The strut-to-knuckle bolts can now be removed. Push the drive axle from the hub. Support the end of the drive axle with a piece of wire. Separate the steering knuckle from the strut. If necessary, detach the ball joint from the steering knuckle. Installation: Guide the knuckle and hub assembly into position, inserting the drive axle into the hub. Push the knuckle into the strut flange and install the bolts and nuts, but do not tighten them yet. Connect the ball joint to the
Control Arm and install the bolt and nuts (do not tighten them yet). Attach the tie-rod to the steering knuckle arm. Tighten the strut bolt nuts, the balljoint-to-control arm bolt and nuts, and the tie-rod nut to the torque values. Place the brake disc on the hub and install the caliper. Install the drive axle/hub nut and tighten it securely. Install the wheel and lug nuts. Lower the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts to the torque. Tighten the drive axle/hub nut to the torque.
