How to remove and install the windshield wiper switch and headlight/turn signal switch on Lexus ES350?

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the steering wheel. Remove the steering column covers. For the windshield wiper switch, unplug the electrical connectors from the combination switch. Lift the locking tab up and slide the switch out from the combination switch assembly. Pry the mounting clip back and slide the windshield wiper switch off the combination switch assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal. For the headlight/turn signal switch, unplug the electrical connectors from the combination switch. On models equipped with a telescopic steering column, disconnect the electrical connector to the telescopic switch, then disconnect the mounting clips and remove the switch. Remove the windshield wiper switch. Using pliers, squeeze the spring mounting clip at the top of the combination switch and pull the combination switch and clock spring as an assembly from the column. Installation is the reverse of removal.
