- Q: How to remove and install a fender on Lexus RX330?A:Loosen the lug nuts at the front wheel, raise the vehicle and support it with jackstands securely and then remove the front wheel. Open the bonnet and take out the clips and corner fender-to-cowl seals (2010+ Lexus models) or unclip corner fender-to-cowl seals from cowl panel & fender (2014+ Highlander models). Remove inner fender splash shields by detaching inner fenderwell push pins. Disconnect Bumper cover at front to be removed from fender. Remove fastener for fender body side nearest to inner wheel well. In case of passenger side removal, eliminate radio antenna. Open up the front door & get rid of top bolt that connects fender to body. Lower bolts securing fenders on body panels must be unscrewed as well as upper bolts fixing them in place removed too. Fingers crossed, you can take it out without bumping into other parts! The installation is a reversal of this operation whereby one should check if the alignment of the fenders is before tightening down of these bolts.
