Tighten the lug nuts on one wheel, jack up the front of your car, place jackstands securely under it, and take off your wheel from that side. Detach the transverse engine mount at the subframe that holds the control arm front bolts, being careful this step is hard and needs an engine lift or support fixture to complete. Unscrew the balljoint retaining bolt and nuts to remove the control arm from the balljoint, and tap the arm away from the balljoint with a lever tool. Unfasten and take out the bolts that hold the control arm to the engine cradle, remember to disconnect the suspension height sensor before handling the bolts. First, loosen and remove two bolts that hold the control arm to the engine cradle. After that, remove the arm from its place. Check that the control arm is straight. If it is bent, replace it. Also check the bushings; if they are cracked, torn, or worn, replace the control arm. First, do the opposite of taking apart by tightening all bolts to their correct torque settings. Next, put the wheel and lug nuts back on, jack up the car, and tighten the lug nuts to the required torque. Checking and fixing the front wheel alignment should be your next step after finishing this job.

Lower the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque.
