Lift up the rear part of your car carefully, stabilize it with jackstands, and lock the front wheels so your car won't move. Entry the shift lever to Neutral, disengage the parking brake, and keep driving. Drain the differential lubricant. Remove the driveaxles from the differential. Fix the driveshaft to the pinion flange's position first, then undo the bolts holding the driveshaft to the flange. Hold the driveshaft up with wire so that it hangs by the middle support bearing. When your vehicle has an electromagnetic control coupling, detach the electrical cable from it. Also, take the harness free from its holders on the back differential and find a place to keep it out of the way. Remove the rear exhaust pipe assembly. To access the differential like that, you need to take apart the subframe and differential system on RX 330/350 vehicles. Place floor jack under the kit then unscrew the bracket holding it down, followed by the bolts connecting the kit to the car. Slowly lower the jack until the kit comes free from beneath the vehicle. Reinstall the differential just like we took it out, spinning the bolts until they reach the correct tightness levels, then add proper oil for movement.

Use a floor jack to support the differential, then remove its mounting bracket and bolts.
