To remove or replace the hood, two people at least are required for this. You should open the hood first and then place blankets or pads over the fenders and cowl area to protect the body and paint. Disconnect all cables and wires that may affect removal especially windshield washer tubing near right side hinge. It is important to make marks around the hood hinge so as to assist in its proper alignment subsequently. Removing each end's clip of support along with separating supports from the hood is performed with assistance from a second person. Continue removing bolts of hinges-tohoods while supporting with shoulder till it is possible to lift it off. To reinstall, aligning hinge bolts with aforementioned marks is necessary. When adjusting, loosen bolts then move hood into correct alignment by using hinge plate slot. For adjustment of hood-to-hinge, replace factory bolts with standard ones.
