Lexus 90919-05012 Crank Position Sensor

The crankshaft position sensor (CKP) is responsible for determining the timing of fuel injection and ignition on each cylinder.

On 2GR-FKS models, raise the right side of the vehicle on jackstands, remove the left exhaust manifold, engine oil cooler hose bracket nut, and sensor shield bolts. Slide out the bracket from under the oil cooler hoses, disconnect the sensor's electrical connector, remove the sensor, and apply clean engine oil to the O-ring before reinstalling and tightening the retaining bolt securely.

Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on jackstands to provide sufficient working space. Proceed to remove the CKP sensor mounting bolt, allowing you to take off the sensor itself.
