Lexus 46410-33200 Parking Cable Assembly

Follow these steps for replacement:1.Remove front seats, console, and shift lever assembly.2.Remove the nuts securing the cable to the rear of the turnbuckle, then twist the turnbuckle off the front cable end.3.On Lexus models with VSC, remove the yaw rate sensor from the console for access to the cable.4.Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the sensor bracket-to-floor bolts, and remove the sensor.5.Remove the driver's kick panel, knee bolster, and reinforcement to access the parking brake pedal bracket sub-assembly.6.Loosen and remove the locknut and adjuster nut on the cable end at the pedal assembly.7.Remove the clip securing the cable end to the front of the parking brake pedal assembly and pull the cable out.8.Locate and remove the clamps securing the cable to the floor.9.Install the new cable following the reverse of the removal procedure and adjusting the parking brake afterward.
