    Remove the O-ring, oil pressure relief valve snap ring, retainer, spring, and valve. Also, check the components for damage. Also, replace the crankshaft seal, place the rotors into the pump body, pack the pump with petroleum, and install the cover. Lubricate the oil pressure relief valve and mount the valve components. Install the oil pump bolts, install the oil pick-up tube, and reinstall the other parts.

    Take off the oil pan, nuts/bolts, and oil pick-up tube when replacing the oil pump. Remove the lower idler pulley, crankshaft pulley, timing belt, and crankshaft sprocket. Detach the oil pump cover and replace any worn parts. For installation, restore the seal for the drive rotor shaft as well as the crankshaft.
